Returns and cancellation
For consumer purchases made online, you can notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. You then have a further 14 days to return them. We also accept change-of-mind return requests made within 30 days after delivery for unused goods; this additional return window does not reduce your statutory rights.
How to request a return
Email info@antsonengines.co.uk or call +44 7460 638041 with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel or return the item. We will provide handling and courier instructions. A return reference helps us process the goods but is not a condition for exercising a statutory cancellation right. Retain proof of sending.
Return address and transport
Returns are to ANTSON ENGINES LIMITED, 1 Thurlow Gardens, Wembley, HA0 2AH, England, United Kingdom, by arrangement. Contact us before dispatch so we can coordinate safe receipt. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return transport cost. Freight charges depend on engine weight and collection location; obtain a courier quote before purchase if this cost affects your decision. For faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods, we cover reasonable return costs or arrange collection.
Condition and deductions
You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Take reasonable care of them and return supplied components. We do not charge a blanket restocking fee. For statutory cancellations, a deduction may apply only where handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods has reduced their value, as permitted by law. Missing original packaging alone does not remove statutory rights.
Refunds
For a statutory cancellation, we refund the product price and the standard outbound delivery charge, where paid. Refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. If no goods were supplied, the statutory refund period runs from your cancellation notice. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit.
Faulty goods and exceptions
Goods must be satisfactory, fit for purpose and as described. Your UK consumer rights, including applicable rejection, repair, replacement and refund rights, are unaffected by this policy or any manufacturer’s warranty. Sale-priced goods have the same statutory protection. A statutory cancellation exception applies only where the law permits it, such as genuinely personalised goods, and must be disclosed before purchase. Merely ordering a standard model specially does not automatically remove cancellation rights.
